The June 2026 Japanese press release lists a suggested retail price of ¥9,020 including tax for the Switch 2 edition and ¥550 for the Tarnished Pack. Those are Japan-market suggested prices, not a worldwide price list; regional stock, retailer pricing, and currency conversions are not established by the official product information.
For context, FromSoftware reported more than 30 million Elden Ring copies shipped worldwide in March 2025, including digital and Steam downloads, and more than 10 million Shadow of the Erdtree copies shipped worldwide in July 2025. How do I get the new starting classes and armor sets?

Idus Knight: Silver Grooved set and Idus Sword
The Idus Knight starts with the Silver Grooved armor set and Idus Sword. To obtain the armor on another character, find the Nomadic Merchant in north Liurnia. He is on the east side of the ravine leading to Ruin-Strewn Precipice, north of Bellum Church, southeast of Caria Manor, and west of the Grand Lift of Dectus.
The Idus Sword is not sold by that merchant. In southern Liurnia, travel northwest from the Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace and search the corpse beside a tree. Looting the corpse grants the sword.
Heavy Knight: Heavy Knight set and Hefty Scimitar
The Heavy Knight starts with the Heavy Knight armor set and Hefty Scimitar. Existing characters can buy the armor from the Isolated Merchant at the Isolated Merchant’s Shack in western Weeping Peninsula. The shack is south of Fourth Church of Marika and Witchbane Ruins, on the route toward the coast.
The Hefty Scimitar has a different source. In south-east Limgrave, locate the Nomadic Merchant northwest of Fort Haight and purchase it there. Starting as Heavy Knight is therefore the fastest way to have both pieces immediately, but it is not the only way to assemble the loadout.
Where are Leontiel’s armor and greatsword?
Defeat Starscourge Radahn first. From the Starscourge Radahn Site of Grace, travel north toward War-Dead Catacombs. Leontiel invades along the route; defeating her awards Leontiel’s armor and Leontiel’s Greatsword.
The guide also reports that Leontiel can be summoned for the Radahn fight. That summon relationship does not remove the post-Radahn requirement for the invasion reward: the invasion route opens after Radahn has been defeated.
How do I get the Broken Gold Mask set and Golden Order Flail?
These rewards are tied to Brother Corhyn’s quest sequence in Leyndell and are missable on a character that has already advanced the capital to its Ashen Capital state.
- Obtain the Golden Order Principia prayerbook from the upper floor of the arena where the golden shade of Godfrey is fought.
- Give the prayerbook to Miriel, Pastor of Vows, or to Brother Corhyn.
- Learn Law of Regression.
- At the Radagon statue in Leyndell, cast Law of Regression as required by the quest sequence.
- When the Broken Gold Mask invasion is triggered, defeat the invader to receive the Broken Gold Mask set and Golden Order Flail.
The invasion does not occur after Leyndell becomes Ashen Capital. If you have crossed that progression point without collecting the reward, another playthrough or a character that has not reached the Ashen Capital state is required.
Where can I buy the Reverse-Bladed Sword?
The Reverse-Bladed Sword, identified in the guide as the Backhand Blades, is sold by the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold when you arrive. This makes it obtainable without entering Shadow of the Erdtree. Check the Husks’ shop rather than searching a field chest or waiting for a DLC area to open.
Where is the Ritual Thrusting Shield?
The Ritual Thrusting Shield is in the entrance room of the Caelid colosseum, on a corpse behind the giant jar. Reaching that room requires a multi-stage route and two Stonesword Keys.
- Enter the Siofra River Well in eastern Limgrave.
- Travel north through Siofra.
- At the far end, use two Stonesword Keys to unlock the lift.
- From Deep Siofra Well, proceed west and follow the path to the Caelid colosseum.
- In the entrance room, go behind the giant jar and loot the corpse.
The shield is a pickup, so no merchant inventory or quest state is needed once the colosseum route is open. Bring the two keys before starting the detour to avoid reaching the sealed lift without the required items.
Where is the Reed Great Katana?
Travel to Dragonbarrow and locate Greyoll’s head. Climb the mound of scarlet-rot growths to the left of the head and loot the corpse at the top. The mound is almost directly north of Fort Faroth. The weapon is available as a corpse pickup rather than a reward for defeating a boss.
How do I get all three new Torrent skins?
The three options are called Spectral Steed Regalia. After collecting one, rest at any Site of Grace and choose change spectral steed appearance to apply it. The options are independent pickups, so you can collect them in any order that matches your progress.
Tree Sentinel Regalia

A practical route is to collect the low-gate items first, then handle the areas and quest states that can close or delay rewards.

- In Limgrave and the Weeping Peninsula, buy the Hefty Scimitar and Heavy Knight armor if you did not start as Heavy Knight.

Why can’t I find an item?
The merchant is not where the guide describes
Confirm the region and landmark rather than searching around a similarly named Site of Grace. The Silver Grooved merchant is in north Liurnia by the Ruin-Strewn Precipice ravine; the Heavy Knight merchant is at the Isolated Merchant’s Shack in western Weeping Peninsula; and the Hefty Scimitar merchant is northwest of Fort Haight in south-east Limgrave.
The invasion has not appeared
Leontiel’s invasion requires Starscourge Radahn to be defeated. The Broken Gold Mask invasion requires the Golden Order Principia, Law of Regression, and the relevant Leyndell quest interaction, and it cannot be triggered after the Ashen Capital transition.
The Torrent option is missing
Collect the chest or ground pickup first, then rest at a Site of Grace and select change spectral steed appearance. Tree Sentinel requires Godrick’s defeat, and Carian Silver requires Loretta’s defeat at Caria Manor; Funereal Night is placed in Altus Plateau beside the sword memorial route from the Hermit Merchant’s Shack.
The colosseum route is blocked
The Ritual Thrusting Shield path uses the Siofra River Well, the Deep Siofra Well area, and a lift opened with two Stonesword Keys. Carry both keys and follow the route west from Deep Siofra Well rather than trying to enter the Caelid colosseum directly from the surface.
