Secret Lair: Set Phasers to Superdrop is Wizards of the Coast’s Star Trek-themed Magic: The Gathering release. The announced sale begins November 9, 2026, at MagicSecretLair.com. Five drops are listed now—New Worlds, Beam Me Up, tlhIngan maH, KHAAAAAAAAN and Lower Decks—with a sixth drop promised but not yet detailed.
Launch date, queue and ordering rules
The sale is scheduled for November 9, 2026, through the official Secret Lair storefront. Wizards of the Coast says the pre-queue opens at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, one hour before the planned 9 a.m. Pacific Time sale.
Joining the queue or adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Products are secured only after checkout is completed, so an item can disappear while it remains in a cart.
- Storefront: MagicSecretLair.com
- Pre-queue: 8 a.m. Pacific Time
- Scheduled sale: 9 a.m. Pacific Time
- Free shipping: orders over $99 under the stated promotion terms

The sixth drop has been announced only as a future addition. Its name, cards, price and release timing have not been provided.
Prices and what each drop contains
Every announced drop has the same price: $29.99 USD for non-foil or $39.99 USD for foil. Foil therefore costs $10 more per drop. The prices are listed by Wizards of the Coast for the 2026 release and do not establish later resale values.

Drop-by-drop card lists
New Worlds
This is the basic-land option: two Plains, two Islands, two Swamps, two Mountains and two Forests, for 10 cards total. It is the clearest choice for players who want Star Trek artwork on lands rather than named-character reinterpretations.
Beam Me Up
The four reversible cards are Eerie Interlude as “Beam Us Up,” Momentary Blink, Essence Flux as “Materialize,” and Conjurer’s Closet as “The Transporter.” The reversible presentation is the defining feature of this drop.
tlhIngan maH
This five-card reversible set contains Demand Answers, Relentless Assault, Seething Song, War’s Toll and Warstorm Surge. Its Klingon identity and reversible treatments make it distinct from the land-focused and character-focused options.
KHAAAAAAAAN
The six cards are Wrath of the Skies as “Best Served Cold,” Commandeer, Illusionist’s Gambit as “Reliant’s Betrayal,” Buried Alive, Genesis Wave and Fracture. This is the largest announced drop by card count after New Worlds.
Lower Decks
The five treatments are Inti, Seneschal of the Sun as “Mariner, Breaching Protocol”; Kambal, Profiteering Mayor as “Boimler, Citing Protocol”; Silas Renn, Seeker Adept as “Rutherford, Rebuilding the Past”; Thrasios, Triton Hero as “Tendi, Exploring the Future”; and Weatherlight as “S.S. Cerritos, California-Class.”
Which drop should you buy?
Choose according to the part of Star Trek you want represented, not an assumed gameplay or investment advantage. New Worlds suits anyone looking for a complete set of themed basic lands. Beam Me Up and tlhIngan maH are the picks for reversible-card presentation, with the former centered on transporter imagery and the latter on Klingon-themed cards. KHAAAAAAAAN offers six dramatic, story-linked treatments, while Lower Decks is aimed at fans of its animated crew and the S.S. Cerritos.
For finish, the foil edition adds $10 to each drop. Buying all five announced drops would cost $149.95 before tax and shipping in non-foil or $199.95 before tax and shipping in foil. Those totals meet the $199.99 threshold only when additional eligible spending brings the order to at least that amount; the promo remains while supplies last.
Amazon and other retailers
The announcement identifies the official Secret Lair storefront as the release channel. It does not establish Amazon inventory, timing or pricing. If listings appear on Amazon or another marketplace, verify whether the seller is offering foil or non-foil, the product’s condition, edition, shipping date and return terms. Third-party listings may be delayed, absent or priced differently from the original $29.99/$39.99 sale.
Resale prices, stock levels and scarcity cannot be determined from the launch announcement. They should be checked live rather than inferred from the product’s branding or the existence of a future sixth drop.
