Which dates make the radar?
Only dates with evidence. Confirmed means the publisher's own pages show the date and platforms. Announced means the game's own store page lists it as coming soon on exactly that day. On Wikidata with a source means the open database Wikidata holds the date with a reference, but neither the publisher nor a store has confirmed it. A date with no source at all, however often it is repeated online, never makes the radar.
Why is a game I'm waiting for missing?
Either it has no date with evidence yet, or its date is only a year or a month (those sit under "No exact date yet" and get a countdown once a day is announced). The radar is rebuilt as VGKami's games database grows, so a newly announced date appears with the next release of this page.
When does a countdown end?
At the start of release day in your own time zone. Many games unlock at a set hour per region, and some go live the evening before, so check the store page on the day. On release day the entry shows "Out today", and the next day it leaves the radar.
What about remasters and new platforms?
A game that is already out can still have an upcoming release on a new platform. Those show as a "platform release" line under the game's name, so a Switch 2 or PS5 version never looks like a brand-new game.
