Here’s where you can find the Combat Logs in Chapter 2:

  • Infiltrate Grid 086:
    • You’ll get one Silver Log from Invincible Rummy.
    • After defeating Rummy, head up and get on top of the previous structure you’re on and you’ll find two Tetrapod ACs here holding two more Silver Logs.
    • Then, head to the bridge on the right, make a left, then find a lower platform on the left with two enemies on it. Defeat them to get two Bronze Logs.
    • Next, continue until you reach a room with a furnace. Next to the furnace is a pipe. Head through it and you’ll find an enemy mercenary at the end. Defeat it to get a Gold Log.
    • Finally, progress through the mission until you get to the next objective marker. When you’re in the area where there are multiple enemies in the area below you, make a right, and at the end, drop to the right. Keep dropping until you can spot a floor that has three enemies on it. Defeat these to get the last three logs in this mission.
  • Stop the Secret Data Breach:
    • After passing through the door at the beginning of the mission, head to the furnace on the right and you’ll find a pipe you can enter. Pass through the pipe and you’ll find three enemies at the end holding one Bronze Log each.
    • Then, progress through the mission and you’ll find a Tetrapod AC that guards the last two hacking drones. Destroy it for a Silver Log.
  • Ocean Crossing:
    • When you progress through this mission, go low and pass through the scaffolding below when you reach the open area beyond the lift. Proceed through this area until you’re out in the open again. Look over to the right and you’ll see two drones. Defeat them for two Bronze Logs.
    • Afterward, head down to the bridge below and make a right to find two more drones. These Bronze Logs as well.

There are a handful of Combat Logs you shouldn’t miss in Chapter 2 of Armored Core 6. You’ll receive the Combat Log Collector trophy or achievement after collecting all the Combat Logs in the game. On top of that, you’ll get some new parts for your AC!

    Infiltrate Grid 086

    Infiltrate Grid 086 is the first mission of Chapter 2. You’ll find a whopping total of nine Combat Logs in this mission.

    Silver Log 1

    As you progress through this mission early on, you’ll encounter an enemy AC mini-boss named Invincible Rummy. Defeat this enemy to receive a Silver Log.

    Silver Logs 2 & 3

    After defeating Rummy, proceed to the next objective marker and pass through the newly opened gate. Proceed until you’re out in the open. Turn around, look up, and get on top of the building ahead.

    Once up top, you’ll find two Tetrapod ACs. Defeat them to get two more Silver Logs.

    Bronze Logs 1 & 2

    There’s a platform with a pair of enemies between the area with the two Tetrapod ACs and a wall along one of the borders of this map. Look down to find this platform and the enemies on it. Defeat them to receive two Bronze Logs.

    Gold Log

    Continue towards the objective marker. Keep going until you arrive in the area with a furnace. Next to the actual furnace is a small pipe you can head into.

    Continue inside and proceed along the linear path. At the very end, you’ll face a mini-boss named Nosaac. Defeat him to get a Gold Combat Log.

    Bronze Logs 3, 4, & 5

    Return to the furnace room and pass through the gate ahead. Continue forward, then boost all the way up to the next objective marker. Once you make it here, go right and go to the end of this path: follow the tracks.

    Once you reach the dead end, jump down to the edge on the right and descend until you find another floor with three small enemies on it. Defeat these enemies to receive three Bronze Logs.

    Stop the Secret Data Breach

    This mission is exclusive to New Game ++. There are four Combat Logs to collect here.

    Bronze Logs 1, 2, & 3

    From the starting point of the mission, pass through the door ahead to enter the main structure in this mission. From the first area, head to the right and you’ll find a furnace.

    There’s a pipe here you can go through. Follow it to the end and you’ll find multiple small AC enemies. Three of these hold Bronze Logs.

    Silver Log

    There are five hacking drones you’ll have to destroy in this mission. The fourth and fifth ones are guarded by a bigger Tetrapod AC. This one holds a Silver Log.

    Ocean Crossing

    Ocean Crossing is the final mission in Chapter 2. It’s a particularly tricky mission to get through due to the PCA Lasers that continuously shoot at you from above. Thankfully, the Combat Logs in this mission are out of sight from the lasers.

    Bronze Logs 1 & 2

    After ascending with the lift at the beginning of the mission, when you’re out in the open, look down to find openings on the scaffolding below.

    Pass through one of them and proceed onward. You won’t get hit by the lasers while below.

    When you reach an open chamber with multiple small drones, proceed to the bridge ahead. Look to the right and you’ll see two more flying drones. Destroy them to get two Bronze Logs.

    Bronze Logs 3 & 4

    From the spot with the previously mentioned drones, look down and you’ll find another bridge below. Head down and then go through the tunnel to the right. You’ll see two more drones here. These two hold Bronze Logs as well.

    Chapter 2 is a fairly short one, but the next part of the game is longer. Make sure you come prepared! Equip the best builds you can create and you’ll power through the next chapters with ease. Good luck, 621!
