About Weather in Persona 5 Royal

The weather conditions in Persona 5 Royal can impact both your day-to-day activities as a student in Tokyo and your trips to the Metaverse. Weather can shift throughout the day, and it’s important to keep an eye on the forecast if you want to take advantage of any positive effects.

The three normal weather conditions are Clear, Cloudy, and Rain. In addition to normal weather, you’ll find special weather conditions, including Torrential Rain, Pollen Warning, Heat Wave, Flu Season, Snow, and Cold Wave. The latter is exclusive to Persona 5 Royal.

You can see the current weather in the top-left corner of the screen beside the date. When in the main menu, you can also check the forecast for the week ahead. Below, we’ve included applicable dates for each weather condition, as well as the changes and boosts you can expect.

While we’ve listed the respective weather and dates below, on the day after you clear a Palace, the weather will always be clear.

    Normal Weather Effects

Clear and Cloudy days, accounting for most days in the game, won’t impact the overworld or the Metaverse at all.

Heading to Ichigaya during rainy weather is a great way to rack up points in the fishing mini-game. While you gain points according to the type and size of the fish you catch, you’ll sometimes have the ability to tag a fish to earn double points. During rainy weather, these tagged fish become more common.
