Another Pokémon event is upon us — this time in the form of Hisuian Discoveries. You’ll be able to catch some new Pokémon in the Wild or get certain Pokémon through Eggs, Research Tasks, and Encounters.

The Hisuian Discoveries event will begin on Wednesday, July 27 at 10am local time, and it will run through August 2 at 8pm local time. Niantic notes that there could be “even more surprises in store” than those listed below for people who work together during Pokémon GO Fest: Seattle.
Pokémon Debuts
There are a few Pokémon who will be appearing during this event for the very first time, including:
- Hisuian Growlithe
- Hisuian Qwilfish
- Hisuian Sneasel
Pokémon in the Wild
Some Pokémon that we are already familiar with will simply become more widely available to catch in the Wild. The Pokémon that will appear more often during the Hisuian Discoveries event include:
- Aipom
- Bronzor
- Buizel
- Croagunk
- Drifloon
- Eevee
- Hisuian Qwilfish
- Hisuian Voltorb
- Kricketot
- Onix
- Ponyta
- Porygon
- Tangela
- Wurmple
- Zubat
You could also come across an Electabuzz, Gible, Magmar, or Octillery if you’re lucky.
Pokémon Raids
The following Pokémon will be featured during One-Star Raids during this event:
- Roselia
- Shinx
- Sneasel
Those that will be featured in this event’s Three-Star Raids include:
- Chansey
- Kirlia
- Togetic
- Whiscash
Pokémon Eggs
Specific Pokémon will also be hatching from the 7 km Eggs. These include:
- Hisuian Growlithe
- Hisuian Qwilfish
- Hisuian Sneasel
- Hisuian Voltorb
Pokémon From Field Research Task Encounters
When you complete your Field Research Tasks, you will run into the following Pokémon Encounters:

Other Additions
Niantic also notes that event-themed Collection Challenges will be coming during this Pokémon GO event. Through these, you can earn XP, Stardust, and an Incubator as rewards. There will also be a Hisui Cup held in which trainers can battle in the GO Battle League using Hisuian Pokémon. Lastly, avatar items based off the main characters’ outfits in Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be available, as well as Hisuian-themed stickers.
