GTA Online’s newest update, The Criminal Enterprises, will be coming on July 26, 2022. This update revolves around the economy crisis in Southern San Andreas, which is causing gas prices to spike and retail chains to fall into turmoil.

In a post today, Rockstar shared detailed information about the new GTA Online update coming next week. Because of the economy crisis, executives, bikers, nightclub owners, and gunrunners are the ones thriving. There is a suspect behind the high gas prices, and you’ll need to help put the pieces together as a newly sworn in IAA Agent.
Rockstar notes that it doesn’t matter whether “you’ve entered GTA Online via the Career Builder on the latest generation consoles or you’re a seasoned kingpin,” because The Criminal Enterprises has something to offer for everyone. No matter which Criminal career path you’ve chosen, everyone will be able to play all Business Activities (including Sell Missions) in private sessions (Invite Only, Crew, and Friends).
Anyone who owns an Executive office will now see Lupe, a new character who will help supply you with Special Cargo. You will also be able to take advantage of a new side gig, where a shipment of Special Cargo will arrive daily outside your Warehouse. Two new sources of Special Cargo will also be added to Source Missions.
Clubhouses with the Custom Bike Shop are also getting an upgrade, “where MC Presidents will be able to modify clients’ bikes to specifications and deliver them to customers for GTA$ and RP.” There will also be new Clubhouse Contracts and Bar Resupply missions.
For gunrunners, Ammu-Nation wants to be a part of your business. You can make daily deliveries to them for extra money. There will also be two new Resupply missions when stocking your Bunker.
As for nightclub owners, there will also be new missions available. You will be able to call Yohan for missions to source goods for their Nightclub Warehouse, or you can call Tony to start Club Management missions. Two new Club Management missions have been added.
As expected, there will also be new vehicles with this update. These include two new Imani Tech-eligible vehicles and new Tuners vehicles. You can upgrade these vehicles’ remote control, missile lock-on jammer, and more. Benny’s Original Motor Works will be expanding their capability to work on your vehicles. A new car will also be coming later this summer for those playing on the most recent consoles.
Rockstar has been paying attention to feedback, so they’ve made some improvements going into The Criminal Enterprises update. These improvements include “a reduction in the effectiveness of the Oppressor Mk II’s homing missiles and countermeasures, an easier way to replenish Health during firefights with more convenient access to snacks and armor, and much more.” There will also be permanent boosts to Race and Adversary Mode payouts, increased payouts for original Heists and The Doomsday Heist, bigger paydays for Bodyguards, Associates, and MC Members, and more.
