Today, on July 25, Niantic announced that a new feature will be coming to Pokémon GO—Daily Adventure Incense. This will allow trainers to encounter even more rare Pokémon, and it will be replenished every day, automatically.

Daily Adventure Incense has already begun rolling out to players, and it will continue to roll out through this week. Now, even those who live in rural areas will be able to take advantage of Incense and catch more Pokémon.
What Is Daily Adventure Incense
Daily Adventure Incense is essentially the same as Incense. However, this new Incense will be restocked each day automatically, after you complete the associated Special Research. This Special Research will teach you how to use the Daily Adventure Incense.
This new Incense will draw Pokémon to you that you don’t usually see out in the wild. But be warned—though this Incense replenishes every day, it only lasts for 15 minutes each time you use it. You’ll want to make sure you’re fully stocked up on supplies to catch Pokémon before activating this.
How to Use Daily Adventure Incense
You will only be able to hold one Daily Adventure Incense at a time. Furthermore, you will only receive one each day. Luckily, this Incense does not take up a space in your Item Bag. You also will not be able to activate the Daily Adventure Incense at the same time as the typical Incense. Only one may be active at a time.
To use the Daily Adventure Incense, simply open your Item Bag, locate it, and tap on it to activate. This is the same way you would activate any other Incense or item. While the Daily Adventure Incense is active, a blue fog will surround your character, and rarer Pokémon will be drawn to you.
Extra Perks of Daily Adventure Incense
Niantic has kindly decided to award those who are low on Poké Balls when using the Daily Adventure Incense. If you have less than (or exactly) 30 total Poké Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls, you will receive 30 Poké Balls when you activate Daily Adventure Incense. If you have more than 30 though, you will not receive any extra Poké Balls.
