My Beloved Catharine is a side quest in Octopath Traveler 2 that’s given to you by the Haggard Man located to the left of the entrance of Clockbank, Brightlands. His beloved Catharine has run away, and it’s up to you to reunite them.

Where to Find Catharine
While it sounds as if the Haggard Man has lost his girlfriend or wife, it’s actually his feline companion that he’s missing. Luckily, you won’t have to travel far, as Catharine is still hanging out in Clockbank.
To reunite the two, you need to use a Path Action to recruit Haggard Man. Once recruited, head north to the Clockbank: Industrial District, take an immediate head left, and you’ll soon locate a Lonesome Cat hanging out in a corner. Interact with Lonesome Cat and you’ll learn that Catharine is a jealous cat who ran away because Haggard Man called another cat cute.
This side story offers a glimpse into the strong bond between humans and their animal companions.

Once you’ve reunited Catharine with Haggard Man, you’ll be rewarded with:
- 12,000 Leaves
- Cait Powder
