How to Get Berries from Trees
In order to grab any of the berries that can be dropped from trees, trainers need to have a Pokémon available. Press the X button to change from items over to Pokémon; you can rotate between all your Pokémon with the L and R button to choose which one to send out. Press ZR and hold it to line up a throw.
After the chosen Pokémon has been thrown at the tree, it will automatically shake the tree and pick up any berries that drop.
Here, the Typhlosion has brought back five Apricorns from the tree for its trainer. Berries in trees will respawn after players return to Jubilife Village and then return; going to the village and then returning to the trees will reset Pokémon that can be shaken from trees as well.
