The next Nintendo Direct could be taking place next week, according to an editor from Revista Manual. Furthermore, this editor suggests that we should be seeing the focus on Persona and another mystery third party game.
The most recent Nintendo Direct was solely focused on Xenoblade Chronicles 3. During the Direct, we learned more about the new characters, classes, battle systems, abilities, and more. You can check out all the details from that Direct here. Earlier today, we were able to learn a bit more about the next Nintendo Direct.
We don’t know for sure when the next Direct will be taking place. However, it’s been rumored that it will take place next week, as the UK My Nintendo Store will be down between Monday, June 27 through Wednesday, June 29. This suggests that Nintendo may be updating games within that time frame, possibly to reflect what is announced during a Direct. Furthermore, an editor from Revista Manual—a Spanish gaming magazine—stated during a Twitch stream that they were confident in when the Direct would take place. As translated by VGC, the editor, Requena, stated during the livestream, “We should have a Nintendo Direct this coming Tuesday.”
However, the date of the next Nintendo Direct is not all that Requena had to share with us. They go on to discuss what we might see during the Direct. “I’ve also been told that some Persona game will be present, though I don’t know which game,” they explained. “I’ve also been told there will be another game that has been available for some time on other platforms… it’s been available for four years now.”
Earlier this month, we learned that several Persona Games would be coming to Xbox, including Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal. Therefore, it would not be a huge surprise to get an announcement that one or several of these games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. As for the other game, it’s anyone’s best guess at this point!
