Mikka’s Next Chapter is a side quest in Octopath Traveler 2 that you can take on after you complete Hikari’s story. To initiate this quest, talk to the Mikka in Ku, Hinoeuma, near the entrance to the castle area. Benkei is worried about Mika and wants to get her a new kimono. Let’s help.

Help Benkei Find a Kimono
Benkei needs your help getting a kimono that he can gift to Mikka. He mentions that he’s heard rumors of a talented tailor in the Leaflands. If you recall, Agnea’s father, Garud, is a tailor. Pay him a visit in Cropdale to see if he can help.
Enter Agnea’s house, located in the bottom-left corner of Cropdale. Upon entering, a brief scene will play out. Garud and Pala, Agnea’s sister, make a kimono for Mikka. However, Pala wants to hand-deliver the kimono. Recruit her by using a Path Action, such as Agnea’s Allure or Ochette’s Befriend.
Once recruited, head back to Ku and talk to Mikka. She’ll reluctantly accept the kimono, but not before offering to make everyone rice balls. After a long rice ball and raspberry pie-filed conversation, the scene cuts to the next day. Unfortunately, Mikka has lost her earrings of significant importance.
Mikka’s Missing Earrings
At the end of the previous scene, you’ll have noticed a bandit walking off to the right. Use Throné’s Path Action, Steal, to steal the Earrings from the Bandit.
Bring the Earrings back to Mikka and she’ll thank you. She then gives one of the earrings to Pala and explains that they are reunion earrings, meaning that if they both wear one, they’ll meet again one day.

Your rewards for bringing Mikka a new kimono and helping her find her earrings are:

- Mikka’s Amulet
Mikka’s Amulet is a great accessory, boasting +100 for Physical Defence, Accuracy, and Speed. It’s not an accessory you want to miss out on.
