How to Get Hardwood
Hardwood is one of the easiest materials to obtain in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Simply get an Axe or a Flimsy Axe and use this tool to hit trees on your island. Trees will drop a randomized assortment of Hardwood, Softwood, and Wood. Every type of tree, with the exception of Bamboo, has the possibility of dropping Hardwood.
