From the landing site in the Courtyard, go east until you enter the Hangar. The moment you do, look north. At this point, you’ll see some green lights around some tents.

Walk towards the green lights until you’re in an open area by the big tent, some stairs, and a catwalk. At this point, you’re within spitting distance of Xur. Although, due to the change in lighting, the merchant can be hard to spot. Look towards the stairs and catwalk before heading up to the lowest area.

After walking up the first flight of stairs, turn northward to find Xur. They’re standing ready for any and all players to trade with them.
