World Premiere
Gamescom is an annual trade show event that has been running for the last 12 years. Situated in Cologne, Germany, Gamescom is similar in presence to E3 for European developers and fans. Keighley has been holding “Opening Night Live” since 2019 as a primer to the main show and to give international fans a chance to see games as they are announced. While not too dissimilar to The Game Awards, Keighley has made attempts to differentiate the events by focusing more on games than celebrity appearances and commercials.
This year’s Opening Night Live presentation is set to run for two hours. It will include 30+ games and will be broadcast live at 8 pm CEST/7 pm BST/2 pm EST/11 am PST. You can watch the stream on Youtube and on Twitch.
