How to Get All Endings in Nier Replicant
The first few endings of Nier Replicant can be unlocked fairly simply. However, the later ones are much more complicated and require certain pre-requisites before you can unlock them. Let’s get right into it.
Ending A
This is the game’s “first” ending. You can unlock this by simply playing through the game and beating it for the first time.
Ending B
Replay the game using the Ending A save file. During this playthrough, you’ll be able to witness new perspectives, which opens up the story of the game wider than it initially seemed during your first playthrough. Complete this second run to unlock Ending B.
Ending C
The next two endings can only be unlocked after you’ve collected all the weapons in the game. Once that requirement is met, run through the game as you did until you reach the final boss. After which, Kainé’s shade will begin to take over her. She’ll then act as the new final boss.
After defeating Kainé, you will be given two options. You can either end Kainé’s life so she can be freed from her burden, or you can choose to end yourself to save her. Choosing to end Kainé’s life will unlock Ending C.
Ending D
Replay the game once more until you get to the final boss, which is now Kainé. When faced with the same option as before, choose to end yourself this time to save Kainé to unlock Ending D.
Take note that unlocking this ending will delete your save file. Don’t worry, though. You can get it back later on.
Ending E
Once you’ve unlocked endings A through D, start a new playthrough and use a different name this time. Play through the game as usual until you defeat Hook in the Aerie. Once this massive Shade is defeated, you will gain access to entirely new content and play as Kainé this time. Keep pushing forward as Kainé to unlock the game’s secret ending, which is Ending E.
