What is a Heavy Work Bench?
A Heavy Work Bench is one of 44 different crafting stations in the game. As mentioned above, each crafting station allows you to create a specific set of items that you may not be able to create on other crafting stations.
The Heavy Work Bench lets you craft Statues, Decorative items, Gem Locks, Trapped Chests, Dungeon Bricks, among many other items.
If these sound like items you should have, then having a Heavy Work Bench is a no-brainer for you. Here’s how you can create one for yourself.
How to Make a Heavy Work Bench in Terraria
To craft a Heavy Work Bench, you’ll need these three items:
- 12 Any Wood (Wood, Shadewood, Boreal Wood, Ebonwood)
- 8 Any Iron Bar (Iron Bar or Lead Bar)
- An Iron Anvil or a Lead Anvil
Wood can essentially be acquired by cutting down trees with an axe or a chainsaw. You can also craft different types of wood, but whether you want to craft this ingredient or simply farm for them is within your prerogative.
Iron and Lead Bars are created using an Iron or a Lead Anvil, or by using a Furnace. You’ll need 3 Lead Ores and 4 Lead Fences to make 1 Lead Bar, and 3 Iron Ores and 4 Iron Fences to make 1 Iron Bar.
You can create an Iron Anvil or a Lead Anvil with 5 Iron Bars for the former and 5 Lead Bars for the latter on a Work Bench.
Once you have everything you need, fuse 12 Woods and 8 Iron Bars on an Iron Anvil or a Lead Anvil, and voilà! You have made your own Heavy Work Bench.
