How to Place Accent Walls
To learn how to place accent walls in your home, you’ll first need to purchase the Pro Decorating License. This handy certification also gives you the ability to hang things from the ceiling. The license can be purchased from the Nook Stop Terminal found at Resident Services for 2,500 Nook Miles.
After getting the license, return to your home and find where you’d like to place an accent wall. Enter decorating mode by pressing down on the D-Pad.
Press right on the D-Pad to open your storage and use the R button to find the wallpaper section. When you find the wallpaper you’d like to place on your accent wall, ensure that the camera is facing the wall you’d like to change. Press the X button and the wall will be transformed.
Additionally, if you have a wallpaper you’d like to use in your pockets, walk up to the wall you’d like to change. Select the wallpaper by pressing the A button, then press Set Accent Wall.
How to Remove Accent Walls
To remove an accent wall, you’ll need to enter decorating mode by pressing down on the D-pad. Open your storage by pressing right and return to the wallpaper section by using the R button.
The wallpaper being used on the accent wall will be marked with a green checkmark. Hover over it and press the X button to remove it.
