How to Reunite Orpheus and Eurydice in Hades

Orpheus and Eurydice reunited in Hades.

Orpheus is the court musician of the House of Hades and Eurydice is his beloved muse who’s taken up residence in Asphodel. After you’ve set Orpheus free from solitary confinement and he’s made his way back to the house, interacting and raising your affinities with both characters by giving them Nectars will slowly reveal their relationship with one another.

Eventually, you’ll receive the song “Good Riddance” from Eurydice which you can give to Orpheus. As long as you keep interacting with both moving forward, they’ll both especially reveal how much they still yearn for one another. At this point, Orpheus will also begin singing at the House again.

Once Eurydice finally tells Zagreus how much she misses Orpheus, you can finally begin the quest to reunite the musician and the muse. The Musician and Muse prophecy will also appear on the Fated List.

Regain Access to the Administrative Chambers

    The Administrative Chambers in Hades.

First things first, to reunite Orpheus and Eurydice, you must first gain access to the Administrative Chambers in the House of Hades. To regain access to this room, you must have attempted to escape the Underworld at least 27 times.

After that, you’ll have the chance to witness a new scene at the House by resting in your bed when prompted. This will reveal a flashback of Zagreus’ time working at the House under his father. After that, you can then regain access to the chamber by purchasing the Administrative Privilege work order from the House Contractor.

Once that’s out of the way, you can begin working on setting Orpheus free so he can reunite with his muse.

    Talking to Nyx

Nyx telling Zagreus where Orpheus' file is.

You can begin by going up to Nyx and talking to her about Orpheus and Eurydice’s situation. Take note that this conversation won’t come up right away. Just keep speaking with Nyx whenever you’re at the house until they talk about this. Your affinity with Nyx will also need to be raised up to 5, at the very least, for this to happen.

You must then talk to Hades about Orpheus and he’ll tell you that Orpheus’ file is deep within the Administrative Chamber. Speak with Nyx once again and she’ll tell you of its location.

    Setting Orpheus Free

    Orpheus' work order.

Once you find the document in the Chamber, go up to the House Contractor to find the Court’s Musician’s Sentence work order. Purchase this for 3 Diamonds to finally set him free.

The next time you speak with Orpheus, his favor will be completed and the Musician and Muse prophecy will be complete.

In your concurrent runs, whenever you arrive at Eurydice’s quarters in Asphodel, you’ll also see Orpheus there with her from time to time.

And that’s how you reunite Orpheus and Eurydice in Hades.
