There’s a lot to do each day in Stardew Valley. Some items are difficult to obtain, and some tasks are difficult to complete. This may make gamers want to save their game if they succeed in something. There’s only one way to do it.

To save your game in Stardew Valley, head to your house on the farm and crawl into bed. A prompt will appear, reading Go to sleep for the night? Choose Yes and your character will go to sleep. The game shows you a summary of your day, and then it automatically saves your progress.

A few players have shown frustration toward this save feature, stating that the game would be exponentially better if there were a quick save function. The save feature, though, is intentionally created this way. ConcernedApe, the developer of Stardew Valley, stated in a Reddit comment that he didn’t want players taking advantage of save scumming, and he also mentioned that it would be difficult to integrate at this point due to technical challenges.
