Elden Ring is home to a wide variety of interesting and mysterious creatures and the Walking Mausoleum is one of them. This creature doubles as a structure that duplicates your remembrances. Here’s where you can find all of them.

Table Of Contents

    All Walking Mausoleum Locations

There are only 7 Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring and each one of them is only capable of duplicating 1 Remembrance. You need to keep this in mind as there are over 15 Remembrances in Elden Ring, which means you won’t be able to duplicate all of them.

With that out of the way, here are the locations of the 7 Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring.

    Weeping Peninsula Walking Mausoleum

Walking Mausoleum location in Weeping Peninsula.

You can find one Walking Mausoleum in Weeping Peninsula, which is located to the southeast of the Tombsward Ruins.

Liurnia of the Lakes Walking Mausoleum

The Walking Mausoleum in Raya Lucaria.

You’ll find this Walking Mausoleum in northeast Raya Lucaria. You will immediately spot this Walking Mausoleum across the entrance of the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel.

    Mausoleum Compound Walking Mausoleums

The location of the Mausoleum Compound in Elden Ring.

The Mausoleum Compound is located east of the Minor Erdtree in Uld Palace Ruins. There are two Walking Mausoleums in this area, both of which are only capable of duplicating Remembrances from bosses who are not Shardbearers. This means the Remembrances of bosses such as Godrick, Renalla, Radahn, Rykard, and Morgott can’t be duplicated here.

    Castle Sol Walking Mausoleum

The location of the Walking Mausoleum outside Castle Sol.

There’s one Walking Mausoleum just outside Castle Sol in the Mountaintop of the Giants.

    Apostate Derelict Walking Mausoleum

Walking Mausoleum location in Apostate Derelict.

There’s another Walking Mausoleum outside Apostate Derelict, located in the northern part of the Consecrated Snowfield. Be careful with this Walking Mausoleum, though, as it will fire magic in the air which explodes upon impact on the ground until you halt its movements.

    Eternal City Walking Mausoleum

    Walking Mausoleum in Eternal City.

There’s one more Walking Mausoleum to the north of the Nameless Eternal City Site of Grace in Deeproot Depths.

    How to Stop Walking Mausoleums

Skulls at the feet of a Walking Mausoleum in Elden Ring.

You won’t be able to enter Walking Mausoleums until you get them to stop. You can do this by removing the white, glowing skulls that are attached to their bodies. They are found around the Mausoleums’ feet most of the time. But in some cases, they’re found at the base of the mausoleum itself, which means you’ll need to find a way to get to the upper section of the Walking Mausoleum’s body to find the skulls and get it to halt.

You won’t need to remove all the skulls from the Walking Mausoleum’s body. You will only need to remove enough of them to get them to stop moving.
