There’s one Bargainer Statue above ground that you can easily find. Go to Lookout Landing and head to the building with the huge telescope on top of it. Beneath it, there’s an open area where you’ll sometimes find a couple of NPCs. In the back, there’s a pointy stone head on the ground next to a lantern.
Go up to it and press the A button to speak with the Bargainer Statue. If you have Poes in your inventory, you can begin trading with this stony merchant. Here’s what the Bargainer Statue in Lookout Landing sells (01:10 in the Video Guide):

Where to Find Other Bargainer Statues
Most other Bargainer Statues are found underground; in the Depths. To reach the Depths, you must find areas on the map marked with red. These are large holes that travel far underground.
Once you’re in the Depths, you’ll need to be wary of enemies empowered with Gloom—a substance that reduces your maximum number of Hearts. Also, it’s very dark down here, so you’ll need a way to light up your surroundings. You can do so by cooking food that has glow effects, using Brightbloom Seeds, and more.
With that said, you’ll need to explore through the darkness to find Bargainer Statues. Although the Depths can be pretty dangerous if you’re unprepared, there’s some valuable stuff down here as well.
Where to Find Poes
As is the case with most Bargainer Statues, you can also find Poes in the Depths. Most of the time, Poes are grouped in clusters throughout the dark parts of this underground landscape. In these clusters, you can find a random number of Poes.
When exploring the Depths, you, unfortunately, can’t bring any of the horses you tamed. This makes traveling underground slow and a bit tedious. Thankfully, there are some permanent light structures here and there that make exploring these dark regions less annoying. Though, for the most part, fusing your arrows with Brightbloom Seeds is a better way to light up your surroundings.
Once again, we recommend that you prepare yourself for the challenges of the Depths. This part of the game can be frustrating and tedious. If you don’t ready yourself for the darkness, you’ll want to leave it behind for good, stating that you’ll “explore for Poes nevermore!”
