Among all the weapons you can collect in Elden Ring, nine of them are considered Legendary Armaments. These are some of the most powerful weapons in the game. You’ll also be rewarded with an achievement for collecting them all.

You can find these weapons by killing bosses, picking them up, or completing an NPC’s questline. Here are the locations of all nine Legendary Armaments in Elden Ring.

Table Of Contents

    Bolt of Gransax

The location of the Bolt of Gransax in Elden Ring.

Of all the Legendary Armaments in the game, this is the only one that’s missable. Once you reach a certain point in the game, the state of Leyndell will change. You won’t be able to pick up this weapon then.

That said, be sure to seek this out as soon as you step into Leyndell for the first time.

To find this weapon, start at the Erdtree Sanctuary. Turn to the west and take the exit here. Proceed on and you’ll find an elevator at the end of the path. Ride it down.

As soon as you exit the elevator room, you’ll spot the giant spear ahead. Jump on top of the spear and head up. You’ll find the Bolt of Gransax here.

    Grafted Blade Greatsword

The location of the Grafted Blade Greatsword in Elden Ring.

You acquire this weapon after defeating Leonine Misbegotten. You can find this boss at the end of Castle Morne. It is also part of Hyetta’s storyline, whom you meet on the side of the road after the Bridge of Sacrifice.

    Sword of Night and Flame

The location of the Sword of Night and Flame in Elden Ring.

You can find the Sword of Night and Flame straight sword in a chest in Caria Manor.

Start from the Manor Lower Level Site of Grace. Exit through the door ahead of you and keep moving forward. After reaching the second tower, stick to the left side of the bridge and you’ll spot the roof of a shorter tower below you.

Jump onto it, proceed forward, and head down once more. Here, you should spot a hole in the roof with a ladder you can climb down. Descend from here. You’ll find a chest in this room which contains the Sword of Night and Flame.

    Ruins Greatsword

The location of the Ruins Greatsword in Elden Ring.

You can get this weapon by defeating the Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight boss fight in Redmane Castle. You can only do this boss fight before or after the Radahn Festival.

If you head to the Redmane Castle before the festival starts, you’ll need to cross the Impassable Greatbridge on foot. Contrary to the name of the bridge, you can definitely cross it successfully as long as you’re careful.

    Marais Executioner’s Sword

The location of the Marais Executioner's Sword in Elden Ring.

You receive this weapon after you defeat Elemer of the Briar in the Shaded Castle. You can find this area in the northeastern Altus Plateau surrounded by a poison swamp.

    Eclipse Shotel

The location of the Eclipse Shotel in Elden Ring.

You’ll find the Eclipse Shotel in Castle Sol. There’s a chapel south of the Church of the Eclipse Site of Grace. Head there and you’ll find a chest on the altar. Open the chest to receive the Eclipse Shotel.

    Golden Order Greatsword

The location of the Cave of the Forlorn in Elden Ring.

You receive the Golden Order Greatsword after defeating the Misbegotten Crusader boss. You’ll find this enemy at the end of the Cave of the Forlorn in the Consecrated Snowfields.

    Dark Moon Greatsword

The location of the Dark Moon Greatsword in Elden Ring.

The Dark Moon Greatsword is a recurring FromSoftware weapon. Its name may change from game to game, but its design remains relatively the same.

You acquire this weapon by completing Ranni the Witch’s storyline.

    Devourer’s Scepter

The location of the Devourer's Scepter in Elden Ring.

You receive the Devourer’s Scepter by defeating Bernahl. Bernahl will invade you in Farum Azula after you complete his questline in the Volcano Manor. This questline involves him sending you to invade and kill other NPCs all around the game.

Alternatively, you can kill him immediately on your first encounter in the Beastmaster’s Shack in Limgrave.

Alternative Method for Getting the Legendary Armaments Trophy

There’s an alternative method you can employ if you’re collecting these weapons just to receive the achievement or trophy. Instead of running around the game, you can summon a friend who has these weapons in their inventory.

You can then ask them to drop these weapons so you can pick them up. As long as all nine Legendary Armaments have been in your inventory, you’ll receive the achievement or trophy.

This alternative is especially useful for those who are already at the end of the game and were unable to retrieve the Bolt of Gransax. You can do this instead of going on a new journey just for the sake of collecting this one weapon.
