Finding the Dung Eater’s Cell
The Dung Eater’s Cell is located in the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. This is a sub-area of Leyndell that you can access by entering a well located west of the Avenue Balcony.
From the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace, descend the flight of stairs and head through the door. As soon as you’re in the open courtyard, head left and look over the railings to find a set of rooftops. Jump down here and continue proceeding northwest. Keep going until you spot the well.
Once spotted, climb down the ladder in it. Keep going from here and you’ll arrive at the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. Continue on until you reach the corridor where you’ll find multiple Omen enemies. There’s an open room here that houses the Underground Roadside Site of Grace.
If you’re at the point in the game where you’ve already defeated Maliketh the Black Blade in Crumbling Farum Azula, you’ll find a massive open manhole in Leyndell that drops straight to the Subterranean Shunning Grounds.
Now that you’re in the Subterranean Shunning Grounds, time to make your way to the sewer gaol that holds the Dung Eater. Start from the Underground Roadside Site of Grace. Exit the room and head left. Keep going forward until you see a missing grate on the ground that drops to a lower sewer.
From here, face northwest and follow this route. This sewer has a couple of rats you can either ignore or defeat. Deal with them as you see fit. Keep going forward until you find a couple of poison flowers and a couple of giant Miranda Sprouts. Once again, deal with them as you see fit.
At the end of this path, you’ll find a ladder you can climb. Once at the top, move forward and make a right. You’ll then spot a locked cell at the end of the room. This is the cell that the Sewer-Gaol Key unlocks. You’ll find the Dung Eater inside.
Be careful when approaching the cell as there’s a Spider Hand here beneath the two items in the middle of the room that will burst from the ground.
