How to Get the Allegiance Coat
Luckily, you don’t need to jump through hoops or defeat any secret bosses to add the sleek Allegiance Coat to your inventory. The Coat will become available automatically by advancing the Main Scenario questline in the Endwalker expansion.
After completing the level 89 quest titled “A Bold Decision,” an NPC named Varsarudh will appear in Old Sharlayan. The Allegiance Coat can be added to your inventory by chatting with her and simply clicking on the item.
About the Allegiance Set
The Allegiance Coat isn’t the only item you can snag from Varsarudh. Following “A Bold Decision,” players will also unlock the Allegiance Blinder, the Allegiance Gloves, the Allegiance Longboots, and the Allegiance Trousers. This Artifact Armor is item level 560.
Players preparing to attempt level 90 content will find this gear very useful. These pieces are not able to be dyed until the conclusion of the Gunbreaker role quests in Endwalker. These quests begin with “Shrouded in Peril,” a level 85 quest, and conclude with the level 90 quest “A Path Unveiled.”
Who Can Equip the Allegiance Coat?
To equip the coat, players must be a Gunbreaker at level 89 or above. The Gunbreaker class was added to Final Fantasy XIV in the Shadowbringers expansion. It has no base class, and players can unlock it by completing the quest titled “The Makings of a Gunbreaker.” This quest is handed out by a Gods’ Quiver Bow in New Gridania.
