Where is Deeproot Depths?
Geographically, the Deeproot Depths is situated right below Leyndell, the Royal Capital. Incidentally, one of the entrances to the Deeproot Depths can be found in Leyndell. More specifically, it can be found in an area under Leyndell.
Getting to Deeproot Depths From Leyndell
You’ll need to make your way to the Subterranean-Shunning Grounds from Leyndell. You’ll find a well outside the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace, to the left of the walkway that’s guarded by three knights.
Continue descending from the Subterranean-Shunning Grounds and you’ll arrive at the Forsaken Depths. You’ll find Mohg, the Omen in this area. Defeat him to proceed.
Once defeated, strike the altar behind the chest to reveal a hidden path. Continue onwards and keep descending by using the wooden walkways and protruding tombstones as platforms. Once you reach the very bottom, you’ll arrive at the Frenzied Flame Proscription.
Turn to the southeastern corner and strike the third to the left wall to reveal a hidden room with a chest. Strike the wall behind a chest and you’ll find your entrance to the Deeproot Depths.
Getting to Deeproot Depths From Siofra Aqueduct
Progress onwards from Nokron, Eternal City until you reach the Mimic Tear boss. Proceed once more onto the Night’s Sacred Grounds. Once you find the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace, head to the northeast, past the dead deer that’s surrounded by Ancestral Followers, and you’ll reach an area loitered by spirit jellyfishes.
Continue onwards, down the cliff, and proceed until you come across the Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace. Just continue proceeding from here and you’ll find the Valiant Gargoyle boss fight.
Defeat the two bosses here and approach the coffin at the foot of the waterfall. Interact with it and you’ll be sent to the Deeproot Depths.
What to Expect From Deeproot Depths
The two most notable things you can expect to find in the Deeproot Depths are the Walking Mausoleum and Fia, the Deathbed Companion.
If you follow along Fia’s questline, she will eventually depart from the Roundtable Hold. You’ll find her again if you make your way to the Deeproot Depths.
Once you find her here and finish her questline, you’ll receive the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince. This is an item that will allow you to access the Age of Duskborn ending.
