Take note that Eleonora will only spawn here if you’ve advanced Bloody Finger Hunter Yura’s questline enough so that he’s also at the Second Church of Marika.

How to Advance Bloody Finger Hunter Yura’s Questline

You’ll first find Yura under a ruined structure northeast of the Seaside Ruins Site of Grace in Limgrave. Exhaust his dialogue here, then head to the valley north of Agheel Lake.

    Yura from Elden Ring.

While you’re here, you’ll be invaded by Bloody Finger Nerijus. In just a short while, Yura will join the fight to assist you.

Once Nerijus has been defeated, Yura will move to his next location.

Head to the Main Gate Site of Grace in Raya Lucaria. Head towards the bridge to the north and you’ll find a summon sign to assist Yura. Do so to enter his world and help him defeat the Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin.

Yura's second location marked on the map.

Once defeated, you’ll be sent back to your world. You can then talk to Yura, who’ll be standing close to the ledge. He’ll then tell you that he’s hunting Eleonora.

Exhaust his dialogue here and he’ll move to the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau.

You’ll find him there on the ground, having been defeated by Eleonora. Speak to Yura one last time. Eleonora will invade you in just a few moments.

    Alternative to Summoning Eleonora

If you’re already in the late game, and have already met Shabriri but haven’t progressed Yura’s side quest, what you can do instead is to go to Yura’s first location to get the Nagakiba katana. As long as this is in your inventory, Eleonora will appear when you head to the Second Church of Marika.

    Defeating Eleonora

As the wielder of Eleonora’s Poleblade, she’ll use the weapon’s flashy and powerful Ash of War on you — the Bloodblade Dance. This will have her twirl around at a fast rate as she slashes at you. This is the attack you’re going to want to watch out for the most.

Aside from this, she also uses a couple of dragon incantations. Since those have a slow wind-up process, you can land a couple of hits on her before dodging away as she’s about to do the incantations.

Her attacks, like the weapon, deals bleed damage. Watch out for when the status builds up, as it will chip away 15% of your overall health once filled.

When you finally defeat her, you’ll finally get Eleonora’s Poleblade, as well as the Purifying Crystal Tear.

Eleonora’s Poleblade deals fire and bleed damage. At base level, it has a 72 physical attack and fire attack rating, and a 55 Blood Loss buildup rating.

This twinblade has a stat requirement of 12 Strength, 21 Dexterity, and 19 Arcane.

Once fully upgraded, its physical and fire damage ratings will increase to 176.

Its Ash of War, the Bloodblade Dance, is as powerful as it is gracious. It’s very effective whether you’re facing a horde of enemies or just one. It deals decent damage and it helps build up blood loss faster.

This weapon also has impressive stagger damage, which will allow you to stun-lock most humanoid enemies.

Combining its speed, stagger, bleed, and awesome Ash of War, Eleonora’s Poleblade is one of the best weapons you can use in Elden Ring
