Get Asgardian Ingots by opening coffins during the mid and late game, and complete the trials in the northern arena of The Crucible.
Asgardian Ingots are important resources in God of War Ragnarök. These are required to upgrade most armor pieces. They’re rare at first, but become more plentiful during later parts of the game. Here’s where you should look.
Table Of Contents
Open Coffins from Mid-Game to Late-Game
Early in the game, you’ll find little to no Asgardian Ingots at all. However, as soon as you’re halfway through the main story, these will become more prominent. Expect to see more of them once you return to Svartlafheim during the Forging Destiny main quest.
From then on, open every single coffin you find and you’re bound to obtain an Asgardian Ingot, along with other resources.
The Crucible Trials
There’s one set of trials in The Crucible in Muspelheim that has a very high chance of rewarding you with Asgardian Ingots. Whenever you complete a trial in this area, a Legendary Chest will appear in the arena. These chests contain items and resources such as Asgardian Ingots.
There are four arenas in The Crucible with different sets of trials. Each arena rewards you with a different set of resources. To constantly receive Asgardian Ingots, do the trials in the northern arena. Redo them as often as you want to receive as many Asgardian Ingots as you need. This makes this the ultimate farming process for this particular resource.
Before you can access The Crucible in Muspelheim, you must first obtain two Muspelheim Seeds. Otherwise, complete the main story first and speak to Ratatoskr outside Sindri’s House. Once you do this, all remaining Mystic Gateways in the game will become available, including the one in The Crucible.
