How to Use This Build
The goal is to boost Slowking’s stats while also powering up Stored Power. Initially, this move only has a base power of 20. However, for every increased stat stage, its base power goes up by 20. As such, if you use Nasty Plot once (+2 stat stages), Stored Power’s base power becomes 60.
To use this build in an ideal manner, you should first use Nasty Plot three times. This increases your stat stages to +6. In turn, this multiplies Slowking’s Special Attack by four and increases Stored Power’s base power to 140.
If you need even more power, use Amnesia or Iron Defense three times after using Nasty Plot thrice. This results in 12 total stat stage increases. At this point, Stored Power’s base power becomes 260.
You should have Slack Off to heal in between boosting and attacking. You don’t want to get knocked out, as this will reset your boosts.
Being able to heal with Slack Off means that you can make use of Life Orb without any major downsides. As for Natures, you want to be Modest for higher Special Attack. Invest in HP and Special Attack EVs as much as you can, as HP is the most useful for staying alive and Special Attack lets you hit harder.
Slowking doesn’t have the best ability options, but Own Tempo is the best for Tera Raid Battles. Lastly, you want Slowking’s Tera Type to be Psychic, as Stored Power is the only damage-dealing move on this build.
