Key Takeaway

Relics and Planar Ornaments are items that you can equip on your character to boost specific stats and gain helpful bonuses. Relics come in sets of four, while Planar Ornaments come in sets of two. Equipping items exclusively from a single set will grant additional bonuses.

You can find Relics in the Cavern of Corrosion, while Planar Ornaments are earned by completing worlds in the Simulated Universe.

In Honkai: Star Rail, you can equip your characters with four Relics and two Planar Ornaments. While selecting the right Light Cone and leveling up is important, a character’s stats are largely influenced by the Relics and Planar Ornaments they have equipped.

Table Of Contents

What Are Relics and Planar Ornaments?

Relics are items that you can equip on your character to boost certain stats. They come in rarity levels from two to five stars and can be individually leveled—the amount of sub-stats a Relic has and the level it can reach is dictated by its rarity. A Relic’s main stat depends on its type, while its sub-stats will always remain the same. There are four Relics in a set, consisting of Head, Hands, Body, and Feet. Planar Ornaments are another type of Relic consisting of a Planar Sphere and a Link Rope.

By equipping multiple Relics and Planar Ornaments from the same set, your character will gain additional stat effects and increased stat boosts.

As each Relic and Planar Ornament set offers different buffs, it’s impossible to recommend one set as being better than another. Certain sets will benefit certain characters, and as some Relic stats are dependent on RNG, it may take some time to farm the ones you’d like most.

Where to Find Relics and Planar Ornaments

Relic sets can be found in their corresponding Cavern of Corrosion. In order to unlock all of these areas, you’ll need to find them by progressing through the main story and reaching Trailblaze Level 14. Once found, they will be accessible and will appear as fast-travel Waypoints in your Interastral Peace Guide.

You can also raise your Trailblaze level to earn Relics or use the Omni-Synthesizer to craft your own.

Below, we’ve listed the locations of all Relic sets, along with the stat bonuses you’ll gain for having two or four pieces equipped.
