Where Is Lakeview Manor?
Unless you’ve gone through the process to build it, you cannot “find” Lakeview Manor, per se. The plot on which Lakeview Manor would be built is right on Lake Ilinalta, surrounded by forest. You can find this plot between Falkreath and Riverwood, and you can see Bleak Falls Barrow to the north.
Benefits of Lakeview Manor
When deciding whether to buy a house or build one, you’ll want to consider some of the benefits that come along with Lakeview Manor:
- Ability to add an apiary
- Iron, Corundum, and Silver ore veins located nearby
- Two Clay deposits across from workbench
- Quarried stone nearby
- Hawk’s nest on roof of main hall
How to Purchase Plot for Lakeview Manor
To Purchase the plot needed to build Lakeview Manor, you must gain the favor of the Jarl of Falkreath. The Jarl can be either Siddgeir or Dengeir of Stuhn, depending on where you’re at in the Civil War questline. Either way, you’ll need to become the Thane of Falkreath to buy land in the area. This is done by completing specific requests given to you by the Jarl.
Once the quests are completed, and you’ve proven yourself to be a good citizen in Falkreath by helping three other citizens, speak with either Nenya or Tekla. They will offer the land to you for 5,000 gold.
