The Barbarian Armor is within the Crenel Hills Cave, which—as you might expect—is in the Crenel Hills area. This area is northeast of the Yamiyo Shrine and southeast of the Sepapa Shrine.
TipSince the terrain here is pretty rugged, we recommend traveling through the Crenel Hills area on foot, as most horses you tame have a tough time on rocky and uneven surfaces.

Within the Crenel Hills Cave, there’s a Bubbulfrog as well as a Stone Talus—both of which you should defeat for great loot. Also, getting rid of the Stone Talus makes getting to the Barbarian Armor easier. If you need help with that, check out our guide on how to defeat Talus enemies.
Once you’ve dealt with the Stone Talus, take a look at the northeast wall of the cave (03:45 in the Video Guide). Here, you’ll see a cluster of glowing rocks. Use a Bomb Arrow (fuse a Bomb Flower to an arrow) and shoot it at the rock cluster. This opens up a hole in the wall, which you should climb through.
When you do, you’ll find some ore deposits and a treasure chest. Within the treasure chest is the Barbarian Armor. Put it on and marvel at Link’s physique! (Well, if you’re into that kind of thing.) While you’re at it, admire the Attack Up effect. This effect passively increases how much damage you do with every attack.
You’ll be doing a lot of fighting in Tears of the Kingdom, so more power makes every battle go a lot easier. It’s also worth noting that the Attack Up effect of the Barbarian Armor stacks with the effects of meals and elixirs.
