Key Takeaway

  • The first medallion is on the top left corner of the closed door at the end of the staircase located in the middle of the courtyard.
  • From the first medallion, turn around and look up to find the next medallion, hanging from the ceiling of the bridge.
  • The third medallion is on the small tower on the northwestern corner of the courtyard.
  • There’s another Blue Medallion inside the cage on the southwestern corner of the courtyard.
  • The last medallion is hanging in the middle of the flower-shaped carving that’s found directly across the blue moon door at the end of this area.

You’ll encounter the second set of these trinkets (Blue Medallions 2) in Chapter 4 of the Resident Evil 4 Remake –  Separate Ways in the Courtyard of the Castle. This area is filled with enemies, so deal with them first before you seek out these Blue Medallions.

Table Of Contents

Eradicate the Blue Medallions 2 Note

Just before reaching the Courtyard area in this chapter, you’ll encounter a merchant room. Enter the room and to the merchant’s left is a large barrel. On it, you’ll find the blue note for this request.

It’s not necessary to pick this up at all as you can still complete the request without ever finding the note. However, it will make the endeavor easier since picking up the note will make the locations of the medallions appear on your map.

    Blue Medallion #1

Ada aiming at a blue medallion past an archway.

Head to the staircase in the middle of the courtyard and you’ll immediately spot a blue medallion hanging on the top left corner of the closed passageway ahead.

    Blue Medallion #2

Ada aiming at a Blue Medallion within the top of a broken gate.

From your current location, turn around and look up. You’ll find the second Blue Medallion hanging under the ceiling of the bridge.

    Blue Medallion #3

Ada aiming at a Blue Medallion that's in small tower.

Turn around once again and head to the left of the archway. Use the grapple point here to get over the fence. Continue walking forward then take the next right. Approach the small tower ahead and you’ll find the Blue Medallion hanging next to a torch inside the tower.

    Blue Medallion #4

Ada aiming at a Blue Medallion located inside a cage.

From your current location, turn right and use the grapple point above you. Keep moving ahead and you’ll find yet another grapple point. Use this one as well. As soon as you land on the ground, face right to find a cage. The next medallion is inside this cage.

    Blue Medallion #5

Ada aiming at a Blue Medallion situated at the center of a flower-shaped carving.

Make your way to this area’s objective marker. You can get there by starting from the center of the courtyard, using the grappling point left of the staircase, heading left, and then continuing along this path until you find another grappling point. Use the grapple point once more to get to the ledge above.

Once here, and while facing the closed door, turn around and you’ll see the last medallion in the middle of the flower-shaped carving on the wall. You can hit this medallion from the ground, but it’s easier to do so from up here.

Eradicate the Blue Medallion 2 Rewards

After destroying all five Blue Medallions in the Courtyard, see the merchant again and you’ll receive seven Spinels. Use them to purchase gemstones, storage cases, and Small Keys. You can only obtain Small Keys from the merchant in the Separate Ways DLC.

With these Blue Medallions out of the way, if you’ve also eliminated the first set, you’ve officially completely rid the Separate Ways DLC of them. However, there are still more Merchant Requests up ahead. Complete all of them and you’ll receive an indestructible knife as a reward.

Be sure to obtain it! If you ever plan on replaying this game come Halloween time, having this knife will make your next playthrough much more straightforward.
