Where to Find the Statue That Lets You Upgrade Ruego Al Alba to Level 3
The statue that lets you upgrade Ruego Al Alba to level 3 is in the upper-right corner of the Crown of Towers. You can get there as soon as you gain the ability to air-dash (the Mercy of the Wind).
From the room where you gain this ability, go up and to the right. You’ll need to solve a couple of puzzles—but they’re pretty straightforward. Here’s the route we took from the Mercy of the Wind upgrade room to the Ruego Al Alba level 3 upgrade statue (see the map image below marked with a red arrow).
How to Solve the Puzzles to Get to the Level 3 Upgrade Statue
In the room at the top-left, there’s a locked door on the right side. To open it, go to the left side of this room—past a blue chain—and interact with the saint statue glowing with a green aura.
Afterward, use the climbable walls to get up to the ceiling. Then, use Mercy of the Wind to break through the blue chain once more. This gets you back to the right side of the room. Quickly leap up the platforms and dash to pass under the door before it closes.
Tip
In the room beyond, you’ll see a few brown flesh barriers that you need to cut through with Ruego Al Alba’s dropdown attack. Once you do, you’ll see another saint statue at the bottom of this room.
This statue lowers the platform on the right. You need to lower the platform so that you can use your dropdown attack to cut through yet another brown flesh barrier.
Lower the platform, race to the area above it, and then perform a dropdown attack on the platform so that you can cut through the brown flesh barrier on the right.
In the area to the right, you’ll find the upgrade statue that lets you empower Ruego Al Alba to its peak potential.
Interact with this statue and you’ll unlock the tier 3 skills and perks of Ruego Al Alba.
