God of War Ragnarök: Where to Find Hardened Remnants, Tempered Remnants, and Fortified Remnants

Hardened Remnants, Tempered Remnants, and Fortified Remnants are end-game resources in God of War Ragnarök. These are needed to fully upgrade shields, armor pieces, and axe attachments. Here’s where you can find them.

Raid Remnants of Asgard

After you beat the main story, a new favor called The Last Remnants of Asgard becomes available. Remnants of Asgard are Einherjar camps you’ll find scattered all over the realms. Head to these camps and defeat the Einherjar soldiers. There are coffins found in each camp. You’ll find Hardened Remnants, Tempered Remnants, and Fortified Remnants within them.

Take note that some Remnant of Asgard camps will only drop one type of Remnant resource. Others will drop two, and some will drop all three. Raid every single one to obtain every Hardened Remnants, Tempered Remnants, and Fortified Remnants in God of War Ragnarök.

Remnants of Asgard Locations

There are over 10 Remnants of Asgard in God of War Ragnarök. There are three in Svartalfheim, two in Midgard, two in Vanaheim, two in Alfheim, and one in Muspelheim. As soon as the favor becomes available, the location of these camps will appear on the map even though you haven’t personally discovered them yet.

Hover over to their icon on the map and add them to your compass. This lets you easily track their locations.

Another Way to Acquire Tempered Remnants

Unlike with Hardened Remnants and Fortified Remnants, there’s another way to acquire Tempered Remnants.

To get more Tempered Remnants, defeat the Berserkers by activating the Berserker Gravestones. There are 12 Berserkers in total. The first 11 you fight will drop Tempered Remnants.
