Where to Find Cursed Letter, Page One

Cursed Letter, Page One is within the Sealed Envelope that’s found at the top-right corner of the Streets of Wakes. To reach the room it’s in, you’ll need the ability to double jump as well as the one that lets you use yellow sparkles in the air—and Ruego Al Alba.

Once you have all three of those, start from the Prie Dieu in the Streets of Wakes and ascend the tall room. Exit the tall room by going left near the top of it. Then, when you reach the first large room, take out the enemies and use the aforementioned abilities to reach a brown flesh wall in the upper right corner of the big room.

To get to this spot, follow the red arrow on the map image below.

Once you clear the hideous obstacle from your path, enter the room to the right. You’ll find the Sealed Envelope on the ground.

After you go into your inventory and open the Sealed Envelope, it becomes Cursed Letter, Page One. Within its cryptic contents, you’ll read the riddle that you need to solve to get Cursed Letter, Page Two.

Solution to Cursed Letter, Page One’s Riddle

Although Cursed Letter, Page One mentions a large mirror, there are a few to which it could be referring. The mirror the letter mentions is the one in the bottom-left corner within the Two Moons area. To get there, travel down and to the left from the fountain in the bottom-right of the Two Moons.

You’ll need to get through a jumping puzzle mostly requiring you to ring a bell and use mirror statues.

For specific directions, look at the red arrow on the map image below.

After you enter the room with the massive mirror, walk close enough so that you can see your reflection. Following this, press down to crouch. When you rise, you’ll get another Sealed Envelope—this one contains Cursed Letter, Page Two.

Stand on the ledge to the left of the large pit. After five seconds or so, you’ll get the Sealed Envelope containing Cursed Letter, Page Three.

Solution to Cursed Letter, Page Three’s Riddle

This one’s really tricky, as the riddle on the third page of the Cursed Letter refers to a “broken bell.” However, frustratingly, there are many such objects in the Mother of Mothers area. Thankfully, the broken bell you’re after is pretty close to the first Prie Dieu in this zone.

The answer to Cursed Letter, Page Three’s riddle takes you towards a hidden room down and to the right of the topmost Prie Dieu in the Mother of Mothers. Start from the topmost Prie Dieu, descend to the bottom of the tall room it’s in, and then go into the long room to the right. Keep going until you’re at the far right side of this long room.

To get there, follow the red arrow on the map image below.

Once you’re at the far right side of the long room, you’ll see a broken bell. Smack it three times and a secret passage opens up behind it.

Head to the right, and, in the next room, you’ll find the Sealed Envelope containing Cursed Letter, Page Four.

Solution to Cursed Letter, Page Four’s Riddle

Conversely, to the previous part of this quest, this next step is straightforward. Cursed Letter, Page Four’s riddle takes you to the front of Regina’s shop in the City of Blessed Name.

Here, all you need to do is run back and forth in front of the shop’s entrance three times. Afterward, you’ll get the Sealed Envelope containing Cursed Letter, Page Five.

Solution to Cursed Letter, Page Five’s Riddle

Finally, you’ve acquired the last of the Cursed Letters in Blasphemous 2. This one is deceptively simple. Cursed Letter, Page Five’s riddle leads you to the far left room of Profundo Lamento that overlooks the Sea of Ink.

From the Prie Dieu in the City of Blessed Name, head down the ladder to the left that descends into Profundo Lamento. Next, go down and to the left—past the elevator. In the screen to the left of the elevator, you’ll find a ledge overlooking a sheer drop. To get to this spot, follow the red arrow on the map image below.

Once you’re there, it’s time to take a leap of faith! Jump off the ledge. Don’t worry, you won’t take damage if you have Cursed Letter, Page Five in your inventory.

After you plummet off the screen, you’ll get a unique message that reads “The curse of the Unforgiven has been lifted.” Following this, the screen fades to black, and, when it fades back up, you’ll be standing on this ledge once more. A moment later, you’ll get another message saying that you’ve acquired Seguiriya to the Memory of Your Eyes.

About Seguiriya to the Memory of Your Eyes

The great lengths the game puts you through to get this Chant Prayer may seem like a lot for a single reward. However, Seguiriya to the Memory of Your Eyes is arguably the best Chant in Blasphemous 2.

For six full seconds, this Chant stops time. It works in any area of the game and halts any opponent for the aforementioned period. If you’re having difficulty defeating one of the late-game bosses, this Prayer can help you take them out in no time.

Did you expect solving the riddles of the Cursed Letters in Blasphemous 2 to give you time-stopping powers? We didn’t either! However, it feels like a suitably powerful reward for all the work you need to do to get it. Combine the stoppage of time with Quick Verse Prayers to annihilate your enemies before they can attack!
