How Many Endings Are in Elden Ring?

Elden Ring has a total of six ending that you can unlock. From regular endings that allow players to reach the game’s primary goal, to ones that steer away from it altogether. Some of these endings, though, can be difficult to attain.

However, four of the endings are just variations of the same ending. In essence, there are three different outcomes the player can reach when they get to the ending. They can either become the Elden Lord, they can become Ranni’s consort and herald the coming of the Age of the Stars, or they can become the Lord of Frenzied Flame.

    Age of Fracture

Marika's fractured form from Elden Ring.

This is the game’s “default” ending. You get this ending when you beat the final boss, mend the Elden Ring, and become Elden Lord. No other requirements are needed for this ending.

    Age of the Duskborn

The Age of the Duskborn ending.

The Age of the Duskborn is a variation of the Elden Lord ending where you mend the Elden Ring with the Rune of the Death Prince. This restores the cycle of death back into the world, eliminating immortality.

This ending is centered around Fia and Prince Godwyn.

    Age of Order

    The Age of Order ending.

The Age of Order ending is where you become Elden Lord by mending the Elden Ring with the Rune of Perfect Order. This mending rune attempts to perfect the Golden Order, which is considered by Goldmask to be unstable. The Age of Order ensures a world free of conflict brought upon by the “fickleness of the gods.”

This ending is centered around the Noble Goldmask.

    Blessing of Despair

    The Blessing of Despair ending.

The Blessing of Despair is a variation of the Elden Lord ending where the world becomes plagued by the Fell Curse. This is the same curse the Dung Eater inflicts on his victims.

This ending is centered around the loathsome Dung Eater.

    Age of the Stars

The age of stars ending in Elden Ring.

The Age of the Stars ending is where you become Ranni’s consort. She replaces Marika as the Goddess of the Lands Between, with the Tarnished as her Elden Lord.

She rids the world of the influence of the Golden Order, ending their age and marking the beginning of the Age of the Stars.

    Lord of Frenzied Flame

The Lord of Frenzied Flame ending in Elden Ring.

This is the ending where the Tarnished becomes the Lord of Frenzied Flame. Upon reaching the game’s ending, the Frenzied Flame engulfs the world, a reckoning for the mistakes of the Greater Will.

If the Tarnished becomes the Lord of Frenzied Flame, Melina will vow to seek them out, far and wide, to deliver them Destined Death.
